Today’s cover is the song You are my sunshine which is a traditionnal country song which seems to have been initially written by a man called Oliver Hood. Anyway it’s a pretty famous song and the thing that is funny about it is that a lot a people around me think that it’s a happy song. But in fact as you listen to the lyrics carefuly you can figure out how sad it is.
I love this song cause I love songs which sound like happy songs and that are not exactly how they sound. People would sing along the chorus or dance on it without even knowing the sorrow that this song express. I really like when things are not what the seem. Cause in fact there’s nothing more human, being different and more subtle than it seems.
