Sultan Hasselbäck, is the name I gave to this guitar I saved fom the garbage can. It was a sunny afternoon. I went to a friends place and he was dumping a lot of things he had cause he received a lot of new furnitures from Ikea. In the middle of the trashs he wanted to dump there was this little guitar. I immediatly got my hand on it wandering why he wanted to dump it. My friend told me that he never managed tune it properly. So I tried to turn the tunning keys to find a proper tunning and it finally started to sound like a guitar.
I brought the little piece of cheap wood back home and put some old strings from my eletric guitar on it and it worked perfectly with a ADGCEA tunning. So this guitar came to be more like a ukulele than a real guitar so it was perfect for me. Then I decided to give it a name. And now it’s called the name of the matress my friend received that day Sultan Hasselbäck. It’s the cheapest guitar I’ve ever owned but it’s one of my favorite just because that day it started to live in my hands.
It became the guitar I use for covers so that’s the one you can hear in the song I’ve previously posted.
